Building your vocabulary with the most common words used in the language is an excellent start for learning. Most common words expand the language terminology you know and help you with your conversation skills since they are words you hear others use daily.

If you know 1000 words, you will be between a functional beginner and a conversational level in language. In most languages, 500 words will be enough to get you through any tourist situations and everyday introductions. Using everyday common words is the most convenient way to learn a language. The more you hear these words, the better you can process and understand them.

Our text analyzer/word counter is easy to use. Simply copy/paste the text or type it into the input box, then click the Submit text button. After clicking the Process button, the program will generate a list of fords ordered by frequency. Now, you can copy this list and use it in your dictionaries.

On the right side of the window, you see the list of Stop words. These are the most common words in the language. The program will remove these words from the text. By removing these words, we remove the low-level information from our text to focus on the most important words and phrases.

So, find the most frequently used words in any text. Translate them with Google Translator and create your own exercises.
